Search & playlist texts in the playlist skin

Hi there!

I'm new here & this is my first post, i've been reading during hours & now i'm asking...

I just can't figure out with the rendering of the text in the "search" and the "playlist" areas... (i mean in the playlist skin)
I've tried every possibilities, no way to read something...

I've dissected other skins with a custom playlist and it seems to be only one layer, but i understood that i need to introduce several colors (2 for "search", 8 for the "playlist"...
But how i do that? I've tried to merge several layers, no effect...
Do i have to name them a special way...(0, 1, 2,...)
or is it so simple that i don't see it...

Well i hope somebody hear me, Thanks in advance!!!

There are 3 pixel dots in the upper left of the playlists display area that define those colors.

So simple...
Now i understand the meaning of "pixel indexes are used for colours..."
